Could You Ever Be A Cannibal? (And A Brief Talk About Animal Rights)

So I never said explicitly that children shouldn’t read my posts… but they just shouldn’t. Any of them, Especially this one though.

I heard a story a long time ago on The Late Night Show with Nick Margerrison on Kerrang! Radio. It was a tale of a man who was making an expedition in the Arctic I think. Anyway, as he was flying over this area, with no civilisation for miles and miles in either direction, the plane crashed. With him and very few survivors left in the wreckage, these people needed to survive, by any means.

They had no way of knowing in what direction the nearest inhabited building was, and all means of communication with someone had been destroyed, so they needed to wait for a rescue team to be sent out, which wouldn’t arrive for a couple of days.

As time progressed, there food supplies ran out, and they were forced to do the only thing possible to survive. Eat the deceased victims of the crash. They didn’t want to, but to survive, they had to. They managed to cook the meat somehow, so as to not poison themselves. As a result of this, however, they survived.

For those wondering, my post about this was of course influenced by the last few weeks disturbing The Walking Dead storyline, but I was wondering, would you do it? Would you resort to this extreme measures if your life was at steak?

I would, if it was cooked properly of course. I wouldn’t want to, but when it comes down to it, what is the difference between that and eating an animal? Both were alive and both feel pain, so how is this any different? As Morrisey says, Meat is Murder. Animals feels pain like we do. They live and breathe our own air. They feel, so why should we take there lives? If you want to see what really happens to these animals, search up slaughterhouse videos on the internet, I dare you.

Anyway, tell me, would you resort to cannibalism to stay alive? Thanks for reading, and remember to comment, like, and follow!
